A sturdy, robust and easy to install base perfect as a foundation for the Auvergne Log Cabin.

The simple interlocking design of this long cabin base kit makes it a lot easier to install than a concrete base. The installation of this base involves firstly preparing a firm, level area of ground and laying out the piece of Geotextile permeable membrane which is included. The grids sit on top of this membrane and are locked together using the pins included.

The grids can be easily cut using a handsaw if necessary.

Adding pea gravel to the grids helps with drainage and ventilation underneath the log cabin.

This kit includes 30 squares. Each square measures 500 x 500mm. For your convenience, a heavy-duty, commercially-graded membrane is also included.
